I have been sick for two and a half days now. Really sick. All sorts of stomach virus yuckiness that does not need further detail. I am dizzy and exhausted, every part of me hurts, and I’m frustrated that I had to leave my students with a substitute for two days (at least she is a very good sub). I even had to go to the doctor today. I haven’t been to a GP in years.

I know it’s not celebrated here but this is quite a big deal where I come from. It’s as big as Christmas actually. Instead of leaving out candy the night before, we’d leave out hay in a box for the Kings’ camels and the Kings would leave presents. Oh and it’s an official holiday so no work or school.
